Shocking! Rs 2,150 Crore Spent on Ayodhya Ram Temple

Ayodhya: The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has revealed a huge surprise! So far, around Rs 2,150 crore has been spent on building the Ayodhya Ram Temple. Out of this, Rs 1,100 crore has already been paid directly from the Trust’s account. The rest is being used for ongoing projects like the International Ram Katha Museum and boundary wall construction.

The Trust shared that 45 kilograms of pure gold, worth nearly Rs 50 crore, have been used in the temple. Most of this gold decorates the main doors and Lord Ram’s throne.

The International Ram Katha Museum is also under construction, with 20 galleries planned to show stories of Lord Rama. One special gallery for Lord Hanuman will use 7D technology to bring his stories to life. The museum will even show how Lord Rama is worshipped around the world.

Work on the temple complex’s boundary wall has begun. Officials are focusing on Gate No 3 and Gate No 11 to manage crowds. Gate No 11 is set to open on October 10, while Gate No 3 will be completed later. These gates will be dedicated to respected sadhus.

The Trust also paid Rs 396 crore as taxes, including Rs 272 crore as GST over the past five years as The temple’s construction is now expected to finish by March 2026, making it ready for millions of pilgrims.
