Andhra Pradesh Temple Board Appointments Shake-Up!

Tirupati: In a surprise move, the Andhra Pradesh government has made Andhra Pradesh temple board appointments by naming new chairpersons for major temples and fresh presidents for TTD Local Advisory Committees across big cities.

Big names are on the list — Potugunta Ramesh Naidu of BJP will now lead Srisailam temple, while Kotte Sai Prasad of Jana Sena takes charge of the famous Srikalahasti temple. The authorities have appointed Borra Radhakrishna (Gandhi) to the key post at Indrakeeladri Durga temple, and Mudunuri Venkataraju to head the Vadapalli Venkateswara temple.

The shake-up also covers TTD committees: A.V. Reddy will manage the Jubilee Hills temple in Hyderabad, Veeranjaneyulu gets Bengaluru, Sumanth Reddy takes Delhi, and Gautam Singhania is now over Mumbai’s Balaji temple.

People are watching these Andhra Pradesh temple board appointments closely. The new appointees step into roles that handle not just temple rituals but also local management of devotees and services.
