Delhi – Mokshada Ekadashi, a very holy day dedicated to Lord Vishnu. People believe this vrat frees them from all sins and helps them reach Vaikunth Dham after life. It is also said that prayers done today give peace to our ancestors. That is why many families keep this sacred fast every year.
Mokshada Ekadashi falls in the Shukla Paksha of the Margashirsha month. On the same day, Gita Jayanti is also celebrated. So this makes the day even more special and lucky. Many devotees start their day early to worship Lord Vishnu and pray for good health, peace, and success in life.
Why Mokshada Ekadashi is So Important
Religious texts like Vishnu Purana say that this vrat removes all problems and gives peace to the mind. People see big changes in life when they keep this fast with full faith. It also helps remove Pitru Dosh and brings blessings from ancestors. Devotees believe that this one vrat gives the same reward as big donations and holy visits.
Keeping this vrat makes the planets work in a positive way. It protects from pain and stress. It brings growth in family and work. And most important — it brings a direct blessing of Lord Vishnu.
