Uttarakhand — Kedarnath Dham looked like a dream on the morning of October 6, 2025 as The first snow of the season had covered the temple and the mountains around it in white and Devotees were excited and amazed as soft snowflakes fell all around the shrine of Lord Shiva.
The high ridges near Bhairavnath and Vasuki Tal also turned snowy. Pilgrims called it a blessing. Some clicked photos, some just stood in awe, enjoying the peaceful scene. The cold wind, the snow, and the temple bells together made it feel special during Kedarnath First Snow.
Local priests said the snowfall marks the start of winter in Kedarnath. Visitors were told to carry warm clothes. Officials added that helicopter rides and trekking paths slowed a bit, but darshan is going on safely.
This first snow also signals that the temple will soon close for the winter, as is tradition. Kedarnath now looks like a dream — quiet, white, and holy.
