Vijayawada: This Dasara, Sri Kanaka Durga Temple on Indrakeeladri hill is expected to draw nearly 15 lakh devotees. The city is busy making full arrangements for a smooth and safe darshan for everyone.
Collector G. Lakshmisha and Police Commissioner SV Rajasekhar Babu said strict plans are ready for traffic, parking, and crowd management. CCTV cameras and drones will monitor the temple and surrounding areas. Police warned that anyone spreading rumours or disturbing the festival will face action.
The officials asked citizens to cooperate fully. They said Dasara is a festival of peace, devotion, and unity and everyone’s help is needed to make the celebrations safe.
With lights, decorations, and lakhs of devotees, Vijayawada is ready for a grand and memorable Sri Kanaka Durga Temple Dasara celebration.
