Weight limitations

For the Chardham Yatra by Helicopter, average passenger weight is accepted to be 75 kg per person. If any passenger has more weight than this, then amount of ₹2,000 is charged per extra kilo. And the weight of all the passengers on chardham Helicopter cannot be more than 450kg.

Important Guidelines for Chardham Yatra by Helicopter

Our helicopters for the Chardham Yatra by Helicopter carry 6 passengers + 1 crew. This ensures comfort and smooth flying for every yatri on their Chardham Heli Yatra.

Each yatri may carry 5 kg luggage only. Extra baggage is not allowed on the Chardham Helicopter Yatra. Only soft duffle bags are allowed, not trolleys.

Exclusions: All the extra meals by you, personal expenses and optional tours other than this “Chardham Yatra by Helicopter” package.

1. Any entrance fee that is not included in this package.
2. Telephone charges, liquors, mineral water facilities, and tips are excluded.
3. Medical and travel insurance.
4. Anything which is not included in the list of Inclusion of Chardham Yatra by Helicopter package.

Always keep a personal medical kit during the Chardham Yatra in Helicopter, since the dhams sit at high altitude and weather can change suddenly.

Dos

Helicopter capacity

Day 1 – Arrival at Dehradun

You must Arrive in Dehradun by afternoon. Then we will transfer you to your hotel from airport/railway station. You’ll be given a detailed safety briefing about the chardham tour starting next day.

You must Keep only essentials items (max 5 kg) in a soft bag (duffel). You can keep bigger luggage at the hotel cloak room. Sleep early as your flying will starts in the morning.

Day 2 - Dehradun - Yamunotri

Your Chardham Yatra by Helicopter will begin from today. After check-out from hotel, our team will take you to Sahastradhara Helipad, Dehradun, which is the official starting point of this spiritual journey.

From here we will fly directly to Kharsali Helipad in Yamunotri. After landing in Yamunotri, we will take you to the hotel and after resting, we will take you to see the yamunotri temple

The path to Yamunotri dham can be covered easily with a palki or pony ride. After your VIP darshan at Yamunotri dham, you will return to Kharsali, and will check into your hotel, and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 3 Yamunotri - Gangotri

the Chardham Yatra by Helicopter will continue with an early morning flight to Harsil Helipad, in Gangotri. The Helicopter ride will take approx 40–45 minutes, and you will get to see beautiful Himalayan views.

On arrival in Gangotri, our team will transfer you by cab  to Gangotri Temple, which will take around 50 minutes to reach. With our VIP arrangements, you enjoy a VIP darshan without any waiting lines, we make your Chardham Heli Yatra comfortable and stress-free.

By afternoon, after completing your VIP darshan you have rest of the day relax, breathe and enjoy fresh mountain air of this peaceful valley. Every thing in your Char Dham Helicopter Package is handled by us, so that you can focus only on prayers and family time.

Day 4 - Gangotri - Kedarnath

Now, Chardham Yatra by Helicopter will take you in early morning from Harsil Helipad to Kedarnath. Here you will land at Guptkashi, Sersi or Phata. From here, you will board a shuttle chopper that has permission to reach Kedarnath Temple.

In just 10 minutes, you skip the hard 18 km uphill trek and will land at the Kedarnath Helipad which is just 500 metres away from the temple. You get 1.5 hours for a smooth VIP darshan of Lord Shiva before getting back to the Kedarnath base.

After darshan at Kedarnath, you will return to your hotel near Kedarnath for an overnight stay. If time and weather allows, then you may also plan light sightseeing. Every detail of your Char Dham Helicopter Package is designed in such a way that gives you comfort, priority access, and complete peace of mind.

Day 5 - Kedarnath - Badrinath

After breakfast at Kedarnath, your Chardham Yatra by Helicopter continues with a 30–45 minute chopper ride to Badrinath Helipad which is located just 1 km away from the temple. A cab will take you to the badrinath temple, to make sure you have a quick and comfortable ride.

At Badrinath Temple, you can do puja and enjoy your VIP darshan which are arranged in your Chardham Helicopter Tour Package. After your darshan, you can also visit famous nearby places in Badrinath such as Mana Village(last village if India), Bhim Pul, or Vasudhara Falls.

After your Darshan at Badrinath ji, you will return to your hotel to stay for the night. 

Day 6 - Badrinath - Dehradun

From badrinath ji you will take your ride to Dehradun to end the Chardham trip.

Our team will take you to Badrinath Helipad from Hotel, for your return trip to Dehradun. Then you will land at Sahastradhara Helipad in Dehradun, the same place where your Chardham Yatra by Helicopter started.

And now, your sacred Chardham Heli Yatra will come to an end. In Dehradun, we will take you to Hotel, where you can take your luggage from cloak room. Then we will transfer you to railway station/airport as you request.

Important Notes for Chardham Yatra by Helicopter

1. Children above 2 years need full tickets for the 4 Dham Yatra by Helicopter. No special concession applies to children or senior citizens.
2. One private cab is provided for every six passengers wherever required during the Chardham Heli Yatra.
3. Any disputes about service, rules, or terms of your Chardham Helicopter Yatra will follow Delhi jurisdiction laws.
4. In case of emergencies or bad weather, yatris may be taken back to Dehradun using alternate transport. Your Chardham Yatra Package ensures smooth handling of such cases.
5. Even if royalty fees change, the Char Dham Yatra by Helicopter Price remains fixed once you book.
6. Luggage above 5 kg is not allowed on the Chardham Yatra in Helicopter, as per safety rules.
7. If a passenger gives the wrong body weight at the time of Char Dham Helicopter Booking and is deboarded later, no refund will be issued.
8. We do not cover extra hotel nights caused by bad weather; such expenses are borne by passengers.
9. Mobile networks like Airtel and BSNL work at most dhams during the Chardham Yatra Packages by Helicopter.
10. Carry valid ID: Aadhar Card for Indians and Passport for foreigners, mandatory for the Char Dham Helicopter Package.
11. Tips and donations at temples are not included; yatris bear these personal expenses.

Tickets for the Chardham Yatra by Helicopter are non-transferable. Any change of name is not permitted.

Payment Policy for Chardham Yatra by Helicopter

1. To confirm your Chardham Yatra by Helicopter, we take an advance payment. The balance can be paid before you depart from your country or after arrival in India, as agreed with our team.
2. The management decides the advance amount based on the service type and the time left before your Chardham Heli Yatra begins.
3. For peak seasons (like Christmas or New Year) or special bookings such as luxury trains and resorts, full advance payment is required as per your Chardham Yatra Package proposal.

Mode of Payment for FIT (Frequent Individual Travelers)

• 30% of the amount – at confirmation of order.
• 70% of the amount – on Day 1 of the 4 Dham Yatra by Helicopter tour.

Mode of Payment for GIT (Groups Independent Travelers)

• 50% of the amount – at confirmation of order.
• 50% of the amount – one month before the Chardham Helicopter Yatra start date.

Cancellation Policy – Chardham Yatra by Helicopter

1. Before 45 days of your Chardham Yatra by Helicopter date – 25% of the total package cost will be charged.
2. Between 45–30 days – 50% of the Chardham Yatra Package cost will be charged as cancellation.
3. Within 30 days of departure – No refund will be given; 100% of the Chardham Yatra Packages by Helicopter cost will be charged.
4. Cancellations due to Covid or No Show – No refund applies; the entire booking amount will be forfeited.
5. Special cases – For luxury trains and peak season hotels, a separate cancellation rule applies. For flight tickets, airline cancellation policies are followed.

Important Note

If flying cannot take place for two continuous days due to bad weather, the Chardham Heli Yatra will be called off. In this case, passengers receive a 75% refund after deducting a 25% management fee. Extra hotel nights caused by bad weather are payable directly by passengers.

Refund & Deduction Policy – Chardham Yatra by Helicopter

1. For every unutilized dham sector in the Chardham Yatra by Helicopter, 25% of the tour cost is deducted, plus ₹25,000 per person for flight prep and ground arrangements.
2. Any extra services availed during your Chardham Heli Yatra will be adjusted separately, over and above the refundable amount of your Chardham Yatra Package.
3. Refunds are not calculated individually for unused services. Only the overall balance refund is processed for your Chardham Helicopter Yatra.

If flying is not possible from Dehradun due to bad weather, 20% is deducted, and the remaining refund is given back to yatris of the Char Dham Helicopter Package.
