Ayodhya – Ram Mandir is getting ready for a huge day, and because of this, the Ram Mandir will stay close for two full days from the evening of November 24. Many people were caught off guard by this sudden move, and the big question on everyone’s mind is simple: “Why now?”
Here is the full story.
A Special Ceremony Is the Main Reason
The temple will stay shut because a grand flag-hoisting ceremony is planned for November 25 as This big event will take place on Vivah Panchami, the day linked with the holy marriage of Lord Ram and Mata Janaki. The temple trust said the team needs enough time to prepare the whole space , and this major preparation is the reason behind the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Close announcement.
The flag will be placed at a great height, and it will be hoisted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat. Since such important guests will be present, the temple area needs a clean setup, strong security, and crowd control.
The trust also said that darshan will begin again at 7 AM on November 26.
Top Leaders Will Be in Ayodhya
This is not a small temple event. It is a major gathering. Along with PM Modi and Mohan Bhagwat, UP Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also take part.
The ceremony is expected to finish by early afternoon. After that, invited guests will be taken for darshan in a long but steady line. This may take hours because of the number of people who are coming.
For Ayodhya, this is one of the biggest days since the temple opened, and the team wants everything to go easily.
Why the Closure Was Needed
The trust made it clear that the temple must stay shut so the team can finish all work without rush. Workers need space to set up the stage, arrange seating, place the flag, and allow security teams to move freely. Since so many VIPs will be present, the area must stay calm and clear.
Closing the temple for 48 hours gives everyone enough time to prepare without any risk.
What Devotees Should Do
People who plan to visit Ayodhya should come after the morning of November 26. The temple will open again once the ceremony ends and the checks are complete.
This event is special for Ayodhya and for all Ram devotees. When the doors open again, many people are waiting to see the temple after this grand moment.
