CM Majhi's Bold Move Lingaraj Temple Gets Cleaned!

Bhubaneswar – Lingaraj Temple got a fresh new look as CM Mohan Charan Majhi led a huge cleanliness drive at the historic Lingaraj Temple. Part of the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva 2025’ campaign, thousands of people including students, locals, ministers, and leaders joined in to clean the temple area.

The event also marked the 110th birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, a thinker who believed in helping the last person in society. Volunteers cleaned pathways and temple grounds under the theme “One Day, One Hour, Together.”

CM Majhi planted saplings near Debipadahara pond as part of ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0’, promoting a greener Odisha. He also announced plans to convert waste into coal and energy, a bold step toward sustainable development.

With locals praising the sparkling temple surroundings, CM Majhi’s initiative has set a new example for cleanliness and green action in the city.
