Tripurasundari Temple Inauguration – Tripura is buzzing with excitement. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to inaugurate the newly redeveloped Tripurasundari Temple Inauguration in Udaipur on September 22 as the temple is one of the famous 51 Shakti Peethas and holds a special place in the hearts of devotees.
Big Preparations in Udaipur
Officials are working day and night to get everything ready. DGP Anurag Dhyankar visited the site to check security. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and other leaders are supervising roads, parking, and visitor arrangements as everyone wants the event to run smoothly.
A Temple with a Rich Past
The Tripurasundari Temple was built in 1501 by Maharaja Dhanya Manikya. The redevelopment has kept the old charm while adding modern facilities. Earlier this year, CM Saha laid the foundation stone and performed the bhumi puja for the nearby 51-Shakti Peethas Park.
Tourism Gets a Boost
The temple project cost nearly Rs 97.70 crore. The state government, with help from the Union Ministry of Tourism, completed it. Tripura has also spent around Rs 350 crore on other religious and tourism projects under the PRASHAD scheme, with support from the Asian Development Bank.
51 Shakti Peethas Park – A Must-See
The park, just four kilometres from the temple, will display replicas of Shakti Peethas from across India. Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said it will become a top spot for pilgrims and tourists.
Devotees, Get Ready
Officials warn of large crowds. Officials advise pilgrims to plan early and are carefully arranging roads, parking, and safety measures.
