Vedic Rituals Begin as Ayodhya Awaits Ram Mandir Ceremony

Ayodhya – Ram Mandir woke up to a powerful and holy scene on Friday as Vedic rituals began for the five-day flag hoisting Ram Mandir ceremony at Ram Mandir. With chants filling the air and fire from the yajna, the temple town turned into a live picture of devotion. The ceremony will end when Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoists the flag on the temple’s shikar on November 25.

Priests from Ayodhya and Kashi start the day by worshipping the navagraha, the nine planets. Their voices mixed with the sound of Vedic hymns, and from the Valmiki Ramayana and Ramcharitmanas. The place drag hundreds of devotees closer as they tried to capture every moment on their phones.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust shared that this five-day event is not just a ritual; it marks a strong feeling of faith and victory of good. Anil Mishra, a member of the Trust, and his wife are serving as hosts for the entire ceremony. The Trust said that one hundred and eight scholars and Vedic acharyas from Ayodhya, Kashi and South India are leading the rituals with full care.

On the first day, many important steps took place. Priests performed mandap pravesh, followed by mandap poojan. After that came panchang poojan, the invite to the deities, and the lighting of the sacred fire in the agnikund. Each step was done with focus as people watched quietly.

Ayodhya is getting ready for a big moment on November 25. When the Prime Minister will hoist the flag on the temple’s top. Many believe this will open a new chapter for the city, bringing more visitors and more attention to the temple town.

To add to the excitement, the state culture department is planning a bright two-day festival on November 24 and 25. The event will fill Ayodhya with music, dance, folk shows and traditional beats. Across the ghats and temple lanes, groups from different parts of Uttar Pradesh will perform devotional songs and folk tunes.

People in Ayodhya say the town already feels different. The mix of rituals, music and movement has turned every corner into a live stage. With the flag hoisting only days away, all eyes are now on Ram Mandir ceremony as Ayodhya prepares for a moment many will remember for years.
