Bhubaneswar: The holy Kartika month 2025 begins on Tuesday, and Puri Jagannath Temple is preparing for a huge crowd as Devotees from across Odisha and nearby states are expected, and authorities have increased security everywhere.
Extra guards are at all gates. CCTV cameras monitor the temple complex. Volunteers guide visitors and manage queues. Officials say these steps are to make darshan safe and smooth for everyone.
Special arrangements are made for families and senior citizens as Water points, resting areas, and first-aid stations are ready. People are asked to carry only essentials and follow instructions.
A temple official said, “Kartika is a holy month. Devotees come with faith. We want everyone to pray safely.”
