Big Relief Ahead? Shiv Khori Shrine Likely to Get Ropeway Service Soon

Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir: Pilgrims visiting the Shiv Khori shrine may soon find their journey much easier. Indications in August 2025 suggested that the shrine is likely to receive Shiv Khori ropeway connectivity under Jammu and Kashmir’s tourism push.

A Smoother Journey for Devotees
At present, visitors travel by road and then trek up a steep track to reach the cave shrine. The ropeway start it will cut down travel time and make the climb safer. It is expected to be a major help for elderly devotees, children, and those who struggle on foot.
